The new version of WordPress will be launched very soon, but may require you to upgrade your hosting environment and outdated browser.
WordPress 3.2 requires your server host to be be running PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL 5.0. You may find that certain distributions of Linux (like CentOS) are bundled with older versions of PHP and you will need to upgrade this updating your website.
To find out if you are 3.2 ready WordPress have released a new Health Check plugin. In your dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New and search for “health check” (it should be the first result). Install it, activate it, and it will tell you if you need to update anything.
For those running CentOS or RedHat the upgrade is fairly simple, you just need to yum remove php* and yum install php53*
As of 3.2 Internet Explorer 6 support will be dropped, allowing the interface of the admin system to be vastly improved.
