Well, it looks like the new version has some well needed admin improvements! The system is much cleaner and faster too, with a brand new editor and a super-clean “full screen edit mode”.

The brand new full-screen editor is a joy to use, removing all clutter and letting you concentrate on the text at hand. Formatting is still available in this view, by simply moving your mouse to the top of the page.

The new interface is fantastic, giving you much more control right from the admin bar at the top of the page. The left menu is now collapsible and it’s now much easier to switch between admin dashboard and the website (and back again).

The speed increase is the feature our clients will most appreciate, the dashboard is very fast indeed. The core code base has been streamlined and the removal of Internet Explorer 6 support has clearly allowed them to be more creative with new technologies. A true step forward and one that’s been a long time coming.
